Osram Sylvania Inc. is the North American operation of lighting manufacturer Osram GmbH, which is owned by Siemens AG. It was established in January 1993, with the acquisition of GTE’s Sylvania lighting division by Osram GmbH.[1]
The company produces a wide range of lighting products for home, business and automotive use. It sells its North American products under the Sylvania brand name and uses the brand Osram in the rest of the world. The company is title sponsor of the Sylvania 300 NASCAR race, as well as the sponsor of It's a Small World at Disneyland and the long-running Disney's Electrical Parade at Disney California Adventure Park and the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot in the Walt Disney World Resort.
